Reconstitution & Storage Guide
A quick reference for preparing and storing lyophilized peptides. Always follow your own protocol and the guidance on each product page.
What you'll need
- Your lyophilized peptide vial
- Bacteriostatic or sterile water, or our Reconstitution Solution
- A sterile syringe and alcohol swabs
Steps
- Sanitize the vial stoppers and your work surface.
- Draw your chosen volume of diluent into the syringe.
- Inject the diluent slowly, letting it run down the inside wall of the vial — do not spray directly onto the powder.
- Swirl gently to dissolve. Do not shake, as agitation can degrade the peptide.
- Once fully dissolved, store reconstituted product refrigerated at 2–8°C and protect from light.
Storage & stability
Lyophilized vials are stable refrigerated or frozen. Reconstituted peptides are generally stable for 10–14 days refrigerated; avoid freeze–thaw cycles. Refer to each product page for item-specific stability windows.
